Zoom — A case study on Information Security
Why do apps like Zoom and TikTok, with huge security flaws, continue growing their user base?

Am I crazy here assuming that it’s well known that apps like Zoom and TikTok have gaping security vulnerabilities? In the last 60 days there have been many widely published articles on the risks, some of which are:

Yet, users continue to sign up and use, for all practical definitions, this trash malware. Are we as a society that ill-informed on the privacy issues? Well with anti-quarantine protestors pouring into the streets, I guess I shouldn’t be that shocked at the situation.
